Who We Are
Maastricht University has been widely recognised for its problem-based orientation. Both education and research has been directed towards specific individual and societal problems.
The Faculty and Health Sciences in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine has a research program on autonomy and participation for people with disabilities and for people with a chronic illness. Therefore, there is a lot of knowledge within the field of this proposal. Also the Law School knows a strong research group on social security (and the impact of these laws on the behaviour of people).
