Who We Are
The AStri Research and Consultancy Group is an independent enterprise, which carries out social policy studies and consultancy projects in the field of social security and related labour market and rehabilitation issues. AStri's staff have a considerable knowledge on social security administration and disability policies, in particular related to sickness, disability and occupational injury and disease. Several recent evaluative studies focused on return to work policies and strategies for rehabilitation and (re-) employment of persons with disabilities.AStri's domestic studies and consultancy projects have been commissioned by ministries, social security bodies, health care and client organizations, labour unions, etc. International institutions making use of our services are the European Union (Tacis, Phare), World Bank, International Social Security Association (ISSA) and International Labour Office (ILO). Furthermore, AStri carried out social policy studies or "quick scans" for employers' organizations, insurance companies, social security institutions and health care organisations in Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and the US.
